A panoramic roof, Matrix LED headlights, 14-way seats, Bose audio and adaptive air suspension. Ordered one by one, the invoice climbs fast. Porsche has decided to sell them together.
The company introduced the Macan Advanced Package on 13 August, a bundle of options offered at a preferential price for the start of the electric SUV’s new model year. It is available on the Macan, Macan 4 and Macan 4S.

Pricing is 5,990.46 euros including VAT for the Macan and Macan 4, and 5,299.07 euros for the Macan 4S. Those figures apply to the German market. Porsche puts the saving at up to 45 per cent depending on the model, measured against ordering each item separately. No order books date or delivery schedule appears in the release, only the start of the new model year.
Standard equipment moves up
The rest of the update concerns the base specification. Adaptive cruise control becomes standard on the electric Macan, as does Automated Parking with 2D Surround View: the system identifies spaces between and in front of objects, activates the indicator by itself and handles parallel and bay manoeuvres as well as pulling out. Remote Park Assist, which runs the manoeuvre from a smartphone, stays on the options list.
Wireless phone charging in the centre console goes from 15 to 25 watts. On vehicle charging, the 22 kW onboard charger becomes standard on the Macan GTS and Macan Turbo, cutting AC session times at public chargers or a compatible wallbox. The Macan, Macan 4 and Macan 4S stay at 11 kW AC, with 22 kW available as an option. All models take up to 270 kW on DC as standard.
None of this is dramatic, and that is roughly the point. The Macan landed in a segment where the fight runs through equipment lists as much as through headline figures, and where the gap between list price and invoiced price widens with every box ticked. Bundling the most-ordered options and trimming the total is an acknowledgement of that pattern rather than a response to it.
For reference, the provisional WLTP consumption figures run from 19.3 to 16.7 kWh/100 km on the Macan, 20.4 to 17.7 kWh/100 km on the Macan 4 and 4S, 20.5 to 18.5 kWh/100 km on the GTS and 20.6 to 18.3 kWh/100 km on the Turbo. Combined CO2 emissions are 0 g/km, CO2 class A. Porsche quotes no range figures in this release.
